We're Simmering Down!

We've just learned that our show (The Robert Verdi Show Starring Robert Verdi) is officially at 10pm EST, Wednesdays on Logo starting February 10th, 2010.

When expressing our excitement, albeit sarcastic, we sent a photo to the marketing team. (see photo 1). The reply photo made us laugh out loud, with their comment of "Simmer Down."(see photo 2).

Sunday evening we received an email from La Verdi letting us know we'd be attending the ACE awards with him, which he was hosting. Here is what the email said...

the whole rv inc team is going to the ace awards!

please be prepared to get dressed up tomorrow for the big event

and sweep me outta there once it's over.

OK Robert, we may each be one of these things, but you have all of them covered. Old, crazy, fat AND cheap- you're the whole package!

Cut to the evening of the ACE Awards. After Robert approved our outfits, we were all taken to the event in the Marchon Escalade and seated at a table right in front of the stage with legendary fashion journalist Mary Lou Luther. Sightings from the night included Diane Von Furstenburg, Marc Jacobs, Lady Gaga, Calvin Klien, Molly Simms, Betsey Johnson, and more!

Fun night, long night, but worth it!

What's Better Than a Tyson Beckford Sandwich?

Nothing. Obviously.

From time to time Robert actually let's us take a work break to chat with his celebrity friends and clients... it only took this one time when we fought over one to put an end to that policy. Tyson loved it though and he's worth it, so who cares?!
